She’s not lovin’ it.
A Texas woman is suing McDonald’s after claiming she suffered grievous but unspecified injuries after eating a Sausage McMuffin with Egg she purchased at a Midtown Manhattan location.
Yvette Hinds filed suit May 26 in Manhattan Supreme Court claiming the breakfast sandwich she was served was “wholly unfit for human consumption,” according to court documents.
The complaint alleges the sandwich she was served on May 25, 2023 contained “injurious substances, contaminants, poisons, toxins, parasites, bacteria, germs and/or organisms which would and did cause various serious personal injuries.”
When she polished off the fast-food breakfast favorite, Hinds claims she became “violently ill and nauseated,” and suffered “severe pains and distress throughout her body.”
She further claimed she was forced to undergo “several operations, procedures and treatments” after eating the sandwich she was served at the restaurant location at 1651 Broadway, and said her “physical, nervous and mental systems were seriously and permanently injured” as a result.
Hinds was allegedly so sickened by the sandwich she was rendered unable to work or perform household duties, and was forced to incur “great expense” for medical treatment and expects to continue needing treatment moving forward.
Her lawyer, Mark Shirian, didn’t respond to The Post’s request for comment, or for specifics about Hinds’ alleged injuries, but the suit accuses the fast-food behemoth of “negligence, carelessness and willful disregard.”
Among the defendants named in the complaint are the McDonald’s Corporation, the individual location where the meal was allegedly served, the franchisee and the real estate holding company that owns the location.
A McDonald’s rep did not immediately respond to a message from The Post seeking comment.

Black Arizona lawmaker emails fried chicken company to demand free food, claims they "overcooked" food at lobbyist-funded lunch

Sometimes, the stories just write themselves, don't they?
An Arizona lawmaker - a black female Democrat - is trying to get free catering from a fried chicken place and I genuinely don't even know how she thought this would work.

Arizona Democrat State Senator Kiana Sears tried to use her political position to get over 1500 dollars worth of free food from Gus’s world famous fried chicken
Why are Democrats so entitled?

I've had Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken and, let me tell you, I understand why you would want 240 pieces of their chicken. It's just THAT good. There's a reason it's "World Famous."
But this lady's just trying to scam them because she likes the chicken, isn't she?
Arizona's Family reported on the scandal last week:
Okay, so, a lobbyist catered fried chicken at an event. The lobbyist paid for it. Everybody ate their fill. All good.
But then a black woman who had attended the event got angry about the quality of the fried chicken, and for some reason felt entitled to email Gus's and demand they provide her with $1,500 in free chicken.
I mean, c'mon, people! If The Babylon Bee wrote this story as satire, they'd be called racist! 😂
A hundred people attended the event. Sears was just one attendee.
But for some reason, she felt that SHE was owed another 120-person order because SHE was dissatisfied with the food.
More from AZ Family:
The request raised questions about whether Sears was trying to score a free meal, who would be at the event on a Saturday, and how bad the chicken actually was.
Sears did not respond to requests for comment. Lawmakers at the Capitol declined to speak publicly about the incident, though many had opinions about it privately.
WE NEED ANSWERS ABOUT CHICKENGATE, CONGRESSWOMAN!
