An enjoyable read, even if you're not a Yankies fan.
Seriously, though, this book is perfect for the sports fan, the Christian and the person who is interested in far away places, as well as anyone who just wants a good, true story.
This is the autobiography of Mariano Rivera, who played for the Yankies and helped win a couple World Series. More importantly, though, it is the story of a Christian and one who seems to be a camel who has gone through the eye of a needle. Rivera talks about his life, from boyhood in Panama to his retirement from MLB, with reference to his Christian faith which is neither preachy nor wishy-washy, thus giving the reader an authentic and inspiring look at how God's people can live for him in real life.
