The Power of Prayer Prayer is not merely a ritual but a divine connection to the Almighty God, who hears, answers, and moves mightily on behalf of His people. Through prayer, we access the throne of grace, where healing, protection, salvation, and deliverance flow from the Father's heart. As James declares:   Jesus Himself assures us of prayer's authority: "Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven. Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 18:18-19, NASB) And the psalmist reminds us of God's responsiveness: "The righteous cry, and the Lord hears And delivers them out of all their troubles."
