Dear Friends:
It's coming up THIS Friday!! Madoc's Open Mic at the Legion - tuning in Spring weather with another sunny day!! Our snowbirds are flying back home, the ice is rapidly thawing - we're seeing robins!! And a porcupine came out of hibernation and ate the wiring harness off our car. So MUST be Spring!! We call it MUD Season around here. But the Legion is high and dry (so far) so no worries getting into there. Isn't it nice how long the days are getting!? Now you only have to drive ONE way in the dark.
Just going to be Robert and I running the show this week - our soundman has something else on. But Jerry will be back April 3 to perfect the sound again. We're slowly making changes to the atmosphere of the bar for Open Mic nights. You'll have to come and check it out. Jen and I went Thrift Store shopping for a little more drapes around the stage and will have a better set up for the April gigs. We've been dimming the lights and making the front door more welcoming. (: So everyone who called for an improved atmosphere should come and see how we're doing!
So come help us HOP into Spring (isn't that what we used to call Spring Dances - Spring Hops??) :D
