WHICH CITY IN CANADA IS THE BEST FOR READERS? (PUBLIC LIBRARIES REPORT)

Have you ever wondered how many libraries are there in the biggest cities in the world?

Picodi.com analysts prepared a new report in which we found out which capitals and major cities around the world and in Canada have the most public libraries and where the access to them is the easiest.

– The easiest access to public libraries is in Belize’s capital—Belmopan. There are 0.74 libraries per 10,000 residents there

– In Toronto 10 thousand Torontonians have less than one library, 0.33 to be exact

– The most favorable ratio of the number of libraries to the number of residents is in Vancouver – a little less than a half of a library per 10 thousand residents (0.41 each)

The full list of data is available at this link: https://www.picodi.com/ca/bargain-hunting/public-libraries-around-the-world

AH: I had recently heard about which cities in the United States had the most and least active library circulation, and this item is interesting to me as well.
