LONGING FOR THE KINGDOM

This world is getting more difficult to stay in.

Everywhere I and my brothers and sisters in Christ go all there is is evil, wickedness and sin all around us as stupid only gets stupider and the blind only get blinder.

North America and a lot of the rest of the world may be too far gone to save. We can only keep walking in God's truth, faith and love, seeking out who God wants us to approach which means my time is not done yet because I know that God would like to save all His children that He can reach through His servants in Jesus Christ but it seems a lot of us may already be past the point of no return.

I will still continue to walk in God's truth in this world of sin and pray for all the people I know and love and all the people I'd love to know in the name of Jesus Christ and the salvation in His blood.

God has shown me many things i n my life. God has sent people to me. God has had me approach people in His name with His Word that He gave me so that people will know that I am with Him and my message is from Him through Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit directs me.

LOOKING BACK-NOVEMBER 2018-FEBRUARY 2019

Based on notes to myself.

The Lord told me He would send people back into my life and one day, when I went to the post office, He did.

Was continuing to go through my buddy's tapes.

Went to a Lion's Club dance one Friday which was a fundraiser for a family in the community. 

Began receiving single use braille books from CELA at around this time.

Thanks to attending the Lion's Club dance I was invited to someone's Christmas party the Saturday before Christmas. It was mostly her family but I enjoyed the party.

Ate an orange I had received as a gift at said party for breakfast the next morning.

Was listening to CBC Music a lot at this time.

Had a bunch of relatives from Mom's side of the family come down for Christmas. Also really enjoyable.

Mom made turkey curry the week between Christmas and New Year's from my cousin's recipe. I also immensely loved that same cousin's snickerdoodles.

Sent my friend an electronic audio Bible after Christmas.

Starting the new year, had an unwelcom email correspondence with a former friend.

The winter days passed with me managing to keep occupied and productive.

The castles and ruins of castles I saw in Europe can’t be compared to the palaces we as children of the King     of Kings will have when we get to heaven.

MY TRAIN PLATFORM ANGEL

A month ago I went with my sister, family friend, and daughter of a family friend to Europe.  We first went to London and took a train to Brussels, Belgium, at which time we would change trains to go on from there to Germany.  

The platforms in European train stations have a rather large gap between the platform proper and the actual train.  While boarding the train somehow I misjudged the gap, and fell between the platform and train.  Out of nowhere a stranger came and pulled me out of the gap.  

I did hurt myself, but not as seriously as originally thought, scrapes on my knees, and a possible bruised tailbone.  

What’s even more interesting is we went to thank the individual for helping me, but as quickly as he came in he disappeared.  

Later, when recounting the event to my mom I told her that I figured with absolute certainty that I had yet again encountered an angel.

Baby name trends in America have changed drastically in the last 50 years.

 

The Social Security Administration (SSA), which started compiling baby name lists in 1997, has retroactively identified 200

 

of the "most popular" first names given to boys and girls in the 1970s.

 

There were approximately 17.1 million male births and 16.5 million female births that decade, according to the SSA’s records.

 

The SSA combed through the millions of records and found which names were most prevalent for

Gen X babies born between 1970 and 1979.

 

Generation X (Gen X for short) were born between 1965 and 1980, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

 

Here are the top 10 baby names that dominated the 70s.

 

The most popular male names of the 1970s

 

1. Michael

 

Michael is a biblical name that means "who is like God" in Hebrew and it’s reportedly one of the most common names in the world, according to BabyNames.com, an online source for baby name meanings.

 

The name Michael was found to be the most popular for boys born in the U.S. in the 1970s. The name was reportedly given to 707,588 boys, according to the SSA.

 

2. Christopher

 

Christopher is a Greek name that reportedly means "Christ-bearer," according to BabyNames.com.

 

The name Christopher was reportedly given to 475,597 boys born in the U.S. during the 1970s, according to the SSA.

 

3. Jason

 

Jason is a biblical name of Greek origin that reportedly means "healer," according to BabyNames.com. 

 

The name Jason was reportedly given to 462,916 boys born in the U.S. during the 1970s, according to the SSA.

 

4. David

The top baby names for boys in 2021 were Liam, Noah, Oliver, Elijah, James, William, Benjamin, Lucas, Henry and Theodore.

 

None of the female names from the SSA’s 1970s-based top 10 list carried over to 2021.

 

The top baby names for girls in 2021 were Olivia, Emma, Charlotte, Amelia, Ava, Sophia, Isabella, Mia, Evelyn and Harper.

 

The SSA hasn’t released its top 10 baby names of 2022 list at the time of publication.
