I liked Briget's plot in the movie a lot better than the book. Her nearly sleeping with her professor made no sense.
However, I preferred Carmen's plot in the movie. Julia trying to mess up her delivery is totally ridiculous since the director wouldn't have cast her if he thought she was reading Shakespeare all wrong.
Likewise, Lena's plot in the movie was better, too. Leo being the model and her deciding she doesn't love him but only wants to love him works better than just falling for some guy who, other than cooking, seems to do nothing but make art.
I preferred Tibby's plot in the book as it had just that much more intricacy.
Also, why would Effie be jealous of Lena and her friends, being she was four years younger?
