Having followed the patriot survivalist prepper movement since childhood in the nineties, I am well familiar with how important it is to physically prepare for whatever might happen. The panic buying and lockdown nonsense of three years ago this month should have silenced the scoffers if nothing else.
However, I am equally aware of how much more important it is to prepare for the future spiritually, as the man in this video points out.
In fact, I would venture to say spiritual preparation is more important than the vital physical preparation we must undertake. If we are not hid in Christ through our relationship with Him (Acts 2 38), we will be lost forever and all the survival food and other gear in the world won't save us.
I also take his point about being a good example to the children we encounter on a daily basis. After all, they're going to have to go through the tribulation period, too.
