"Family-Friendly" Pride Festival Features Dildo Ring Toss Game

This past Saturday, the city of Venice, Florida held its 3rd annual Venice Pride Festival in Centennial Park. The event was promoted on the city’s official Government website.
As you can imagine, this “family-friendly” event came with all the typical festival activities – everything from R&B pop artist Emmanuelle Jacob, singer Lisa Noe, a parade, and a “Kids Korner” complete with scantily clad drag queens!
But just wait until you see the “family-friendly” game CAN Community Health, sponsor of Venice Pride, had at their table! A dildo ring toss!
CAN Community Health is a non-profit based out of Sarasota, FL supposedly committed to serving the needs of the HIV community for the last 30 years. Did you know that rainbow dildo ring toss for kids was necessary for HIV prevention and treatment? Neither did we!
CAN Community Health has been popping up at Pride festivals and community days all over the country and they seem to have incorporated dildos into their prevention plans! Just check out the table from this CAN community booth in Phoenix, AZ.
Obviously, they didn’t want to leave the kids out of all the action! That wouldn’t be fair. I guess that is why CAN Community Health appointed Sarasota County’s Principal of the year, Dr. Covert of Pine View School, to serve on their executive board. I wonder if Dr. Covert is planning to have his 2-12th grade students play dildo ring toss during this week’s “unity day.”
Even the volunteer coordinator, Marcy Jack, was in elementary education.
It started out with freedom to love whomever you wanted. “Love is love.” Then it was more “representation” and half naked kink parades. Now, it’s drag queen story hour in elementary schools, kid drag shows, and dildo ring toss. We’re so far down the slippery slope. Are we finally allowed to call this grooming?
