KIMONO, 13 YEAR PROG-ROCK VETERANS, ARE BACK WITH A NEW SINGLE

kimono are back with the new single Specters, which will be released on the Bostonian record label, Theory of Whatever records.  The 7” 45 vinyl single will be released in the U.S. on November 11th, for $8.99, and is now available for pre-order at http://tow.is/shop.  It includes a B-side cover of the Icelandic band Þeyr’s Rúdolf.  And all records will include a digital download. 
kimono will be playing Iceland Airwaves '14, and the single will be available there as a pre-release, it is possible to reserve a copy for pick-up at the festival via www.tow.is/shop
Kimono are 13 year veteran prog-rockers with 3 albums under their belt.  They have worked with the likes of Damo Suzuki of Can, Aron Þór Arnarsson, Engineer for Of Monsters and Men, Gunni Tynes of múm and Einar Örn Benediktsson’s (of the Sugar Cubes) band Ghostigital. 
In Late 2013 they released a 20 minute long instrumental album, Aquarium, which was accompanied by daylong concert series featuring musicians from Icelandic bands such as Jónsi, Of Monsters And Men, Muck, and Futuregrapher.
This release is the first for the Boston based Theory of Whatever records, and is kimono’s first direct U.S. Release.  The single is the first track off their upcoming album that will be released in 2015 and accompanied by a North American tour.
