After.life: Yes, the plot was full of holes, but this 2009 film is true horror. Its scary element is timely, what with all the issues surrounding medical assistance in dying.
The Ministers: I enjoyed this movie as well, also from 2009, particularly the local New York flavour and the relationship between the two main police officers.
Dead Man Running: Sure, its a rip-off of "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels", "Snatch", etc., but not having seen any of those movies, I liked this one.
Four Christmases: Not sure how this movie got panned as much as it did. It is chock-a-block full of laughs. Besides, it illustrates something very important: tragedy is about how people change, comedy is about how people don't.
