Luke 8 37: "then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes besought Him to depart from them for they were taken with great fear and He went up into the ship and returned back again"
I think at least one of the reasons the Gadarenes were afraid of Jesus was because if the destruction of those pigs was what resulted from delivering that one man, what other disruptions might there be in their personal lives if the Gadarenes chose to follow Him?
Luke 8 43: You really get the impression that all those physicians were stringing the lady along for her money. Do you think doctors do this today?
Luke 9 5: Too many Christians these days make the mistake of trying to witness to individuals long after these people have stopped being interested in hearing about the Gospel from them. If they reject you, move on; you're probably needed someplace else.
Luke 9 33: What Peter was supposed to get from the transfiguration was that Jesus didn't need a tabernacle made with hands.
