Good day, all.

On Saturday, June 23rd, the Quinte West Youth Center in Trenton is

holding their first annual BBQ and yard sale fund raiser. The Youth

Center is a non-profit organization that is open to youth from ages 12

to 18 years old. The goal of the center is to provide a safe, fun

atmosphere where kids can come and learn through various programs

developed by the center and its volunteers. Some examples of the

programs and events put on by the center are cooking classes, carpentry

projects (so far, bike racks and a picnic table) and other life-skills

classes, photography courses, geo-caching as well as camping trips and

trips to Canada's Wonderland.

The fund raiser runs from 10:00am to 4:00pm at the Quinte West Youth Center located at 2 Wooler

Road, on the corner of Wooler Road and Store St. in Trenton.

Although the music is intended fro public consumption, the format is

going to be very casual and likely unplugged. I have in mind to do sort

of what we do at the Amazing Jam in Madoc (for all who have been to the

Amazing Jam). Any other donations toward the yard sale would also be

greatly appreciated. If nothing else please come for the BBQ to support

this great program.

If you would like to help or if you have any questions, you can e-mail

me at peter_fletcher1@hotmail.com.

Thank you.

Pete Fletcher
