THINGS IN THE NEWS

President Soetoro will meet Friday with 565 tribal leaders from across America. This is good because from now on, instead of blaming everything on the white man, Natives can blame the black guy as well.

There is speculation Canada will pull out of the Kyoto Accord in December. This would be a good thing since implementing the accord would cost lots of money and the document doesn't punish countries like China that emit really high levels of pollution. Doubt it will happen, though.

A new report says 90 percent of Grade 8 students are ahead in math and 50 percent have met the requirement. I knew if they kept lowering the standards this would happen.
