Musical message from Peter Snell…
Sheesham and Lotus are coming to Thomasburg!
The Choking Hazard Orchestra is at it again.
After the successful (and sold out) performance of Goto Izumi, we asked the internationally renowned duo, Sheesham and Lotus, to come to Thomasburg. They agreed. What’s more, they’ll have their featured artist, “Sonny” Sanderson, in tow.
These two are unparalleled artists in traditional and southern American, and old-timey music. They perform their music with a flair you’d have to go a long way to match. While these musicians are best known for their duo work, they’ve performed with some pretty fantastic bands in their day.
Two days ago, they were in Vancouver performing. Today they are in Toronto. On October 28, they’ll be in Thomasburg. Mark your calendar.

As most of you know, the Thomasburg Hall is small (“intimate!”) and only holds 80 people. We sold out last time, so get your tickets soon. Here are the details:
Thomasburg Community Hall
110 Clare Street
(Thomasburg is 27 km north of Belleville and Highway #37, just west of highway 37. From the north, it’s 11 km south of Tweed.
October 28, 8 p.m.

Quinte Arts Council, Belleville
Ticket prices: $10 before October 22, $15 after that.
There will be a bar (beer and wine).
