PUSHING MY BUTTONS

Got a call last night from a company called National Survey Forum. They were doing a survey about vacation time. The call was automated, and I was asked to press 1 if I wanted to continue in English.

I hung up for two reasons.

First, with the kind of jobs I have, I more or less work when I want to so the questions probably wouldn't apply to me.

Secondly, and more importantly, I hung up because I was wary about pressing any buttons on my phone. As I think I said in an earlier post, people conducting surveys over the phone need to realize that, with all the telemarketing scams out there today, pressing a button on my phone's keypad as part of a survey is something I and a lot of other people are loath to do.
