THIS FRIDAY - 'COFFEE HOUSE GIG IN BELLEVILLE

Hi all,
Wanted to let you know about the Blues Fellowship's "Coffee House" gig in in Belleville this Friday night. Essentially it is an 'open mike' in a coffee house format. It will be hosted by Paul King. The location is the Engineer's Hall at the corner of Pine St. and Chatham.
Paul is an excellent and generous musician who used to run the jams at the 10th Ox in Belleville. some of you may remember him from the several times he has come out to play with us in Madoc. The set-up will include amps and microphones (no need to bring your own).
Paul writes me: "I plan on letting anyone who wants to play do up to 3 songs (they can choose anyone to accompany them). If we exhaust that resource and the night is still young, then we’ll offer chances to jam and/or play another song. I plan to keep it a-going until 10 anyway."
Hayley and I are planning to go out and play there on Friday. We have hopes that Peter may be able to join us too. Haven't played the location in this format before. We'll see how it is. Any of you will be welcome; come out to play or just to listen.
There is a $5 donation requested at the door (supporting the 'Blues in the Schools' program and local events). Paul has informed us that for 'those who play' admission will be free.
regards,
James
ps - The Blues Fellowship may be focused on 'the Blues', many of us are not. They've asked me to come out and play so I figure to give them one 'blues' song; as for the rest....
Psssstttt! See you this Sunday at our regular 'Amazing Jam' in Madoc.
